Guilt by Association is one artwork in a series I call Addicted to Paint. The creative process employed is best described as intuitive gestural mark-making, a technique popularized by the New York abstract expressionists. The1.5 inch deep edges are painted black; no frame is needed. The painting is equally dramatic displayed horizontally or vertically.
